Pendergast Pale Ale
Ballot stuffing in the KC tradition. Pendergast Pale Ale was voted on by the Wagner Brewing faithful as the beer they wanted in the fall of 2002. Over 800 votes were cast (mainly by two people) as the choices were narrowed to pale ale and kölsch. The winner was pale ale, by a nose.
The real winner, of course, was the Wagbrew drinkers who enjoyed a clean, cold draft of Pendergast in the heart of Brookside, watching the Chiefs pull out an improbably victory.
